20131001-151432.jpgCollege football finally has playoffs and in my opinion it is about time.  The fans of college football have been waiting forever to get a playoff system to figure out who is the real champion. Now were will it be played? Well of coarse the 2015 championship will be played in AT&T Stadium (Cowboy Stadium), like every high profile game in any sport. But were are we going from there?

Four cities are already in the running for the 2016 Championship game and six already in the 2017 running. Glendale, Ariz., Jacksonville, Fla., New Orleans and Tampa, Fla. are running for 2016. I personally think that New Orleans will win the vote. It is the second biggest stage behind Dallas. Championship games love being in New Orleans. San Francisco, Jacksonville, Minneapolis, San Antonio, South Florida and Tampa will be voted on for the 2017 game. San Francisco will have a brand new stadium that is looking very cool so I think it will be a shoe in for 2017.

Even though Tampa and Jacksonville are in both votes, officials have stated that the championship game will be held at a different venue every year.

This really shows the amount of college football football fans. It will be interesting how they decide what teams make the playoffs but it is a step forward.
